Hi, I’m Liv, a screenwriter and film director from Hamilton, Ontario.
I’m also an advertising student at Mohawk College, where I’m building my skills in art direction while pursuing film outside of school. This dual focus allows me to bridge narrative storytelling with visual communication, giving me a unique perspective on both creative craft and audience impact.
As a bold new voice in independent cinema, I tell stories that explore real-life experiences through a fresh, reflective, and often satirical lens, with a focus on the complexities of the human experience. My work is rooted in authenticity and an obsession with the details that make a moment stick. I have experience directing both narrative and commercial projects, and I approach every project with intention, curiosity, and care—whether it’s a story-driven short film or a concept-driven campaign.
In 2025, my directing was recognized with a bronze award in Film Direction at The One Club for Creativity’s Young Ones Student Awards—a recognition that reflects my commitment to craft, storytelling, and creating films that resonate with audiences on a deeper level.
Outside of my own projects, I mentor emerging filmmakers and am passionate about creating space for new voices in the industry. I’m driven by collaboration, always looking to work with people who care deeply about what they’re making. I’m excited by work that challenges, connects, and reflects—and I’m always looking for new ways to tell honest stories and connect with people through film.

Let's connect and make something cool :)
